A transnational seminar was organized in Guadeloupe in June 2018 on the theme of the Valorization of Intangible Cultural Heritage, bringing together 25 participants from 6 European countries (Greece, Poland, Martinique\/Guadeloupe, Turkey, Croatia, Cyprus, etc.).<\/p>\n

The seminar focused on the role of safeguarding and promoting cultural heritage as a tool for non-formal education. It aimed to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to support young people, especially children and young adults with limited or no access to culture or cultural activities. Additionally, it identified best practices and existing initiatives at both regional and European levels.<\/p>\n

– Develop the socio-professional integration and civic engagement of young people.
– Promote Europe\u2019s cultural diversity by enabling EU partners to access the skills and tools of youth from other countries and engage in exchanges with them.
– Establish concrete and sustainable partnerships between cultural professionals and youth workers to facilitate the development of new intercultural projects aimed at promoting and protecting heritage, the environment, and the inclusion of disadvantaged youth.<\/p>\n
