In the framework of the “Beyond the Beach” project on the enhancement of intangible cultural and natural heritage, the association Patrimoine Vivant de Marie-Galante hosted project partners, including a delegation of professionals from Greece’s Solidarity Track and Emanciper Mayotte.

On this third day of the visit, the partners had the opportunity to engage with the association Bwa Lansan, a key player in the transmission and education of natural and cultural heritage to the youth at the sylvathèque of Gourbeyre in Guadeloupe.

Next, we explored the Indian culinary heritage at Piano Caraïbes, where we were served a traditional Indian meal, colombo on a leaf.

We ended the day with an enriching exchange at Tikabet kassaverie, where we learned about the various uses of cassava, including its nutritional, therapeutic, and cosmetic properties.

A big thank you to Bwa Lansan, Piano Caraïbes, and Tikabet kassaverie for these exchanges of best practices and their warm hospitality!
