To conclude the project, here’s a recap of the final event of Beyond the Beach, featuring the organization of two roundtable discussions in Guadeloupe and Marie-Galante. These events allowed us to share the project results, capitalize on the knowledge gained, and produce resources dedicated to inspiring initiatives in the field of economic promotion of Intangible and Natural Cultural Heritage.
Take a look back at the roundtable held on Wednesday, where local and European stakeholders exchanged views on the theme: “Economic Valorization of Intangible and Natural Cultural Heritage: What Opportunities for Job Creation and Entrepreneurship for NEET Youth in Rural and Island Areas?”
More than 20 participants from various professional fields (including the University of the Antilles, Guadeloupe National Park, Mayors of Baie-Mahault and Pointe-à-Pitre, APCAG Association, Nerfititi Creations, Tropc Eden, Arts Pluriels, Kalina Vannerie, Gwajeka, and others) engaged in discussions on ways to foster the emergence of sustainable enterprises in the field of cultural heritage valorization.
