Ô PCI
The objective of the Ô PCI project is to foster the emergence of actors and dynamics that enable sustainable valorization, increase the presence and visibility of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) in the public sphere, and/or bring together ICH initiatives and actors in Guadeloupe.
Ô PCI is specifically designed as an initiative to unite stakeholders, raise awareness among different audiences about ICH, and work towards its preservation through intergenerational transmission workshops, all within the framework of artistic and cultural education.
Objectives
The projected goals for the project were as follows:
- Create educational pathways for young audiences aged 7 to 14 through engaging and participatory pedagogical approaches to discover and initiate an element of Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH).
- Establish and animate a network of ICH stakeholders across islands to support an activity offering focused on ICH transmission.
This project was supported by the DAC of Guadeloupe.
